    moss coverd coconut.

    As you mostly know i get good results with a type of Java Moss i keep.
    someone who had some from me askd how would i attatch the stuff to a coconut.

    im not sure who told me about superglue but it may have been one of you good people

    so heres a few photos .

    Yes superglue is the quickest way, or just leave the coconut upside down on top of a lump of moss and it attaches itself, it takes a couple of weeks.

    not sure why but photos are not in the right order but you get the idea

    so in reverse order yet again after a small and it is small dab of superglue on the underside the rim . i lay one strand a a time then over lay another. working my way around untill all are where i want the moss to go. in this case i went for the full covering. i save long strands to us last and this is glued both ends of the moss like string holding everything down.
    second photo here shows how it looks before a gentil trim. and first photo is after that trim. now to let it do its thing and attatch to the coconut shell .


    hope you like this . its a little fiddly but worth the result. superglue over the top drys white and looks bad in my opinion
